WARNING!
This is a 'selling stuff' email...
Huge thanks to everyone who visited my exhibition at the Barbican Library in London.
I’ve added all the unsold ‘Civilisation Collages’ from said show to my shop, where they will remain until midnight on Wednesday 10th September.
Each is ridiculously priced at £57, which includes UK postage (sorry, but it’s a pain in the arse to post outside of Blighty these days) and a 5% donation to Arts Emergency.
They are signed and dated original artworks, and are cheaper than my prints for crying out loud!
While I’m doing ‘hard-sell’, I’ll just add that I have nowhere to store the huge display copies of my Exile Textile Prints. They are currently on the floor in front of the telly, interfering with the flight-path. I had them printed in a panic because the originals were sold, therefore excluding them from the exhibition. They are size A0. The regular price for a print of this size (119 x 84cm) is £350. I am selling them at cost price because of the nail holes and hammer marks. There’s a huge white border and said blemishes could be easily trimmed. Each archival quality giclée print, on FSC-certified Hahnemühle 290gsm acid-free paper, comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
I paid £179 each. The cost to you is £195 (not including courier) because I want to break-even and this includes a £7.70 extra-strong tube from the London Graphic Centre and a 5% donation to Arts Emergency.
I haven’t added them to my shop because it’ll take hours. If someone in the London Zones buys them, I will deliver by hand if you cover my fare. Otherwise, I predict a courier to other areas of the country (organised by me) will be about £20. PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU BUY ONE OF THESE PRINTS YOU WILL BE BUYING THE DISPLAY COPY.
The two prints are Exile Textile, which you can read about here, and Exile Textile II, which you can read about here. Please message me if you are interested in buying one.
Thank you,
A x
