Thanks for the comprehensive tour of the exhibition. Lovely work. That reminds me, I have a blue dot where my friend stabbed me on the finger with a pen around 1972. I haven’t looked at it for years though.
Thanks Lucy. The artist is Mei Lock. Not sure of the translation but the whole thing is stitched to her father’s old jeans and made me think of my dad because he is short like someone stemming from generations of no privilege

Sounds like a tattoo x
Stunning works. Always wish I was closer to the places you exhibit.
Also, is there a translation comes with 'Love Languages'?
Also, also, hope your finger is soon on the mend. (The irony of you needing stitches, delaying your own stitches.)
Mei gave an extremely moving talk to the 62 group last night - the writing is a recipe for lotus root soup made by her parents
I am so pleased you discovered that - and shared. 🙏

I’ve got a tiny shard of graphite in my hip from about 45 years ago. Hope your finger recovers well. What an interesting range of work in the show!
My finger is great, it’s the dressing that’s stopping the stitching
Reminded me of Fontcuberta's damaged digit: https://fotologic.substack.com/p/from-the-photopedagogy-bookshelf-36a
Will take a look
Looks most excellent - Thankyou for all the pics.
However - am totally fascinated about the finger.
Was no bother for the first 35 years, but started to get mild pain from it for the last 3
