It's not just the ethical stance on copyright that I love (although I do). It's not even the wide variety of people whose faces you choose, and the respect with which you treat their portraits (although that's a big part of it).

What always strikes me about your work is the sheer beauty of it - the balance of sizes, and colours, and spaces between, the care you take to make the entire piece so harmonious.

I love your determination to make art, and I really love the results. May your paper scissors never go blunt, and your thread never get into a tangle.

The discipline and precision of this project and post is mind-blowing. I love the durational aspect and the meticulous record-keeping, not to mention your ethical position regarding photo attribution. It’s got a touch of George Perec about it - a fellow lover of lists. If you haven’t read ‘Life:A User’s Manual’ I can strongly recommend it (and everything else he wrote).
